Welcome to the 26th EFPSA Congress in Denmark

The 2012 Congress will take place on the 22.-29. of April.

A little help from your friends in the Org.Com!

The Congress is merely two short weeks away, and we know that you probably have a lot of questions. What do we mean by ‘Mind the Body’? What should you bring? And what kind of country is Denmark anyway? You will find the answers to these questions and many more in the EFPSA Information Pack.

Want to know who will be joining you for the amazing EFPSA Congress?

Please, go to the registration website to view your fellow participants or to log-in to view or change your application. As soon as you know your arrival and departure information, it would be great if you could add the information to your application.

Congratulations!

If you have been approved for the Congress, we congratulate you – because it is going to be a blast! The support has been overwhelming, and you will get to meet people from all over Europe, from all EFPSA Members. We just need one little thing from you before you become a proper Congress participant – the participation fee!

You have until February 20th to pay the fee, and you can find all bank and payment details here. One important thing to stress – and we will probably be saying this a lot during the next couple of weeks – please, notice that the fee should be paid in Danish Kroner – this is very important! Also, all money transfer costs are paid by the participants themselves.

A huge thank you from the Org.Com!

We are so overwhelmed over the amount of support from all EFPSA Members, and we would like to thank you all for your applications! If only we had room for all you. It it going to be an amazing experience to host a Congress with participants from all the EFPSA Members across Europe. Thank you!

Mind the Body

The theme of the 26th EFPSA Congress 2012 is ‘Mind the Body’. It is not only a scientific topic but an encouragement or a reminder to psychology as a field to include the body in the way psychology is taught, viewed and practiced.

New Danish research indicates that cognitive therapy based on mindfulness can help prevent relapse into depression. This is but one example of the ways psychology as a field may ‘Mind the Body’. Read more about our theme ‘Mind the Body’.
