1. The overall aim is to build strong, intercultural networks on a personal and professional level. Enrichment of scientific knowledge and offering new experiences:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

There will be opportunities to present one\u2019s own research to fellow students.<\/span>
\nThere will be a wide range of professional lectures and workshops on diverse psychological topics, controversies and research.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. International meeting of students, exchange of ideas and cross cultural communication:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Many opportunities for cooperation on different levels, both scientific and social will be offered.<\/span>
\nNetworking among students will be encouraged.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Promoting EFPSA and its Mission, Vision and Values:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

EFPSA\u00b4s activities and services will be presented to all participants.<\/span>
\nAll participants will have the chance to actively contribute to the development of the Federation or even join the working community in one of the positions of the Executive Board that will be starting their mandate.<\/span><\/p>\n

4. Promoting intercultural dialogue within Europe:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Congress will bring together students from more than 30 countries and regions of Europe.<\/span>
\nOpen discussion sessions, workshops, and lectures delivered by professionals and students will encourage discussions among participants about cultural differences.<\/span><\/p>\n

5. Presenting Czech republic and the way psychology is taught, practiced and viewed within our culture:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Lectures will be held by a wide range of lecturers and professional Psychologists from different universities and institutions, not only from Czech republic. Social activities will introduce the Czech culture and history to the European psychology students whilst celebrating the ? From natural elements, colors, climate changes, population levels, urbanism or architecture, to modern technologies, ecological interconnectedness of humans with the world and their social background. At the first sight, all the mentioned terms might seem very heterogenous and random, but truth is, that they are all elegantly connected by the scientific domain of Envirnomental Psychology. This relatively young psychological discipline was established in the 1960s and has been changing its specific focus over time. However, it is built around one particular question, which is How environment impacts our experience, behaviour and well-being, and in the same time, how do we impact the environment by our activity? By its novelty it is reacting to real and actual topics and thus it is helping us to understand human and the surrounding world. Therefore the goal of our conference is to facilitate the participants the insight to the research and erudite perspective of the leading professionals of the field and open the discussion about actual topics to the field of Psychology.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t

Prague is the capital city and the biggest city of the Czech Republic. Prague is often called as \u201cthe city of a hundred of towers\u201d especially due to many churches and cathedrals and other historical buildings. It lies on the river Vltava, which is the longest Czech river. There live about 1.3 milion people in Prague and millions of tourists visit Prague every year. Visitors are mainly interested in historical centre of Prague, architectural buildings such as the Prague Castle, the main office of our president Milo\u0161 <\/span>Zeman, the reconstructed National Museum, the National Theatre with typical gold root and Charles Bridge, which was built in 14. century by Charles I., who is called the father of country. Charles IV was the most famous king who lead the build to not only Charles Bridge, but also the Charles University, the oldest University in the Czech Republic.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

However, Prague doesn\u2019t offer only historical places. There are also lovely parks, forests where you can just lay on the grass and relax, for example Divok\u00e1 \u0160\u00e1rka or Stromovka, where you can get by tram. If you prefer something more exciting, there are places such as The Pet\u0159\u00edn Lookout Tower or \u017di\u017ekov Television Tower from where you will have a wonderful view of Prague, extensive aquapark or bobsled track.\u00a0 The surrouding area of Prague is also beautiful,just pick up the bus or train and in a few minutes you can feel like you are in the countryside without millions of tourists and cars.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
