September webinar: How to Use Jungian Typology in Therapy – Theoretical Underpinnings of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
Dear Young Researchers,
We hope your summer is as beautiful as ours and that you all had a chance to take a break from your studies. First, we would like to thank again those who joined our July webinar. You can read more about it here. We are excited to invite you again to meet us during our next webinar featuring a guest speaker from Hong Kong, Mark Greene, Ph.D. This multicultural event will be a great opportunity to learn about the use of Jungian Typology in modern therapy.
The upcoming webinar will focus on the use of Jungian Typology in therapy and explore the theoretical foundations of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. It will take place on Saturday, September 23rd at 10:30 CEST, on Zoom (participants will receive the link via email once they register through the platform given below). The whole event will last for approximately 90 minutes. During the webinar, we will discuss and work on the topic of psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. We will also examine whether the well-known MBTI questionnaire, which is often viewed as pseudoscience, should be used in research as well as how and when to use it. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn how to display your own four-letter type in the cross formation. If you have ever asked during your research how people direct and receive energy, how they take in information, or how they approach the outside world, or if you have wondered how to conduct research on one of those topics, this webinar is for you!
Please note that before attending the webinar you will have to know your four-letter type. If you are interested in joining us, please prepare in advance and take one of those tests ahead of time: option 1, option 2.
As mentioned before, the speaker will be Mark Greene, Ph.D. He has been a full member of the Psychotherapy Society of Hong Kong since 2012. He was also an adjunct faculty member in the Clinical Doctor of Psychology program at Alliant International University of Hong Kong and an Assistant Professor at Hong Kong Shue Yan University in the Department of Counselling and Psychology. Now his main focus is on psychotherapy and working with his clients. His areas of specialty include anxiety and depression, personal growth, and positive psychology. He strongly believes that the primary objective of therapy is to recognize any hindrances the individual may have in achieving their goals, and then work towards overcoming them. Dr. Greene applies a combination of Jungian, post-Jungian, CBT, humanistic, and positive psychological approaches to help his clients develop the tools and perspectives that they might need to flourish.
Do not hesitate and sign up now here.
Hope to see you all again soon!
Best regards,
RP Team
