Raising a child with autism can present unique and demanding challenges for parents. However, many parents demonstrate remarkable resilience in coping with these difficulties. This article will examine the concept of resilience in parents of children with autism from a multifactorial perspective, highlighting the various aspects that can influence their ability to face and overcome adversities. First and foremost, it is important to define what resilience and autism spectrum disorder are.
