Meet Porto!

Be a local and call it Invicta – or InBicta, as our wonderful locals would say!

Porto

There are no closed doors in Porto. People welcome us with their arms wide open and there is always a warm smile around the corner, even on the coldest days! You know what they say, it is the people that make the place!

This city remains so beautiful because the architecture has not forgotten its roots. Here, all architectural styles come together – roman, gothic, baroque and even contemporary.

In fact, the city’s architecture makes up the perfect scene for you to fall in love – with the wine, the food, the people (did we already say how nice they are?) and the views! You will feel dazzled by the beauty of this city! Bet you are already picturing yourself taking a boat trip on the Douro River, feeling the breeze and catching that lovely winter sun.

Warning: levels of serotonin may rise!

And for our Portuguese mates, what can we say? There’s something magical about this city, right?

Meet Portugal!

No offence but Portugal really is the most beautiful country there is. Ok, we admit, maybe we are a little bit biased, but how can one not love good weather, breathtaking landscapes and the food… oh the food!

With an average of more than 300 days of sun per year, winter here sometimes feels more like spring and sunglasses are always needed. We are lucky enough to have the most beautiful beaches all over the country, mountains that make us feel small and two archipelagos – Madeira and Azores – that seem like true paradise on Earth.

If you are lucky enough to spend some extra days, consider visiting other cities – like Guimarães, Braga, Lisbon (capital city) or Algarve down to the south – and really take time to enjoy the views and meet the people. Portugal is a place you must feel, not only see.
