Welcome Magical Warrior !

I am Ġanni Is- Sajjied; a Maltese fisherman old enough to know the many journeys this small paradise has been through. Through my own narrative you will get to experience history again; this time as if you were living it!  

If you are still questioning whether you want to time travel, let me tell you that not all history was documented in the ancient books and by being a participant you are given the privilege of knowing all the secrets that were  kept hidden. By being part of our story you will also be given the chance to rewrite history!

Kicking off with a relaxed movie night, then diving into the popular gastronomic and cultural exchange, while also being taken to beach parties and nights will loads of colours and dance music, you will be accompanied by the narrative of history at night and given the opportunity to change it during the day! Did you think these activities were just a coincidence? Well think again, because in this Congress nothing happens without a reason!

Did you think that was it? Not even close! We will be taking you to the most picturesque places on the island, to experience the sea, the sand, the greenery and the history. Get ready for an unforgettable excursion day!

To make sure we  end your Congress in Malta with a bang, you will experience a typical islander night during our beach Gala! So get your sandals, swimwear and linen clothes ready for a night (or should I say a week) to remember!

22nd April – Movie Night

On your first night you will meet your fellow warriors at a house meeting to create a chant and a flag for your house. You will also get to know what role your house played in history; and after this you will get to showcase your story to other houses and battle for the best chant!

After we will head onto a relaxed, fun movie night with a magical setting.

23rd April – Cultural Evening

Are you ready for the second night to break boundaries and enjoy a fun gastronomical, cultural exchange?! This is one of the most awaited nights for any EFPSA event; there will be typical food and beverages from all around Europe displayed on all tables for you to tingle your taste buds! Battle a friend of yours to see who can consume the most traditional goodies and see who wins!

24th April – EFPSA’s Got Talent

Have you seen Jimmy Fallon or Ellen Degeneres? Think Lip Sync, think singing, think dancing. You are going to battle for your life with our own EFPSA’s Lip Sync Battle. Why not pair up in teams and make this even more fun by challenging each other in groups?

25th April – Beach Night

Battle a fellow warrior in some beach volley or tug of war and then enjoy some music, laughs and good times together while on the beach. Enjoy the little talks while smelling the sea breeze and feel the sand under your little toes as you dance the night away.

26th April – Excursion

Prepare to lose yourself while being adventurous in one of Malta’s oldest and most enchanting cities in Malta; Valletta! Many of the legends you will hear about were born precisely in this place. Brace yourself; as besides it being 500 years old, Valletta is currently the European Capital of Culture for the year 2018.

27th April – Rave and Powder Party

As the final night approaches, one does not only celebrate the last day but also the night before. After all you are only in Malta once.( maybe)  Rave and Powder; Does this ring a bell? No we are not talking about Pavlov but in full honesty yes it does make our mouth water and that’s why we re doing it so that the next day no one really remembers how, why and where.

28th April – Beach Gala

Even the most powerful, wise and delicate of EPFSA flowers need to unwind. After a whole week of earning points for their house, the warriors need some time to recharge before starting sadly their trip  back home. We thought of many ways how we could end one such event, and many were our ideas to unite us together as the one big family that we are. Eventually we settled for something that incorporates something Maltese, that has an  element that we are known for, The Beach. We welcomed you on our shores, and we shall wish you goodbye on the very same shore. ( Just pretend for a second that you didn’t really come by plane but on a ship – it helps in setting the dramatic effect)
