This year’s EFPSA conference will continue to strengthen the successful tradition of the two previous international Conferences held in Amsterdam 2013 and in Ružomberok 2015. The theme of this year’s Conference is “Overcoming Divisions: Broadening Psychology”, which reflects the efforts of EFPSA in overcoming divisions and uniting psychology students across Europe.

Conference aims to offer students a purely scientific program, giving them the opportunity to discover different topics of psychology from multiple perspectives.

EFPSA together with Association of Psychology Students: Sinapsa organise the 3rd year of the EFPSA Conference, which will be held from the 16th to 19th of November 2017 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Inspired by the ongoing social and political changes in Europe, the primary aim of the 3rd EFPSA Conference is to explore the psychology behind political, social and ideological divisions and to show that these seemingly insurmountable divisions can be overcome and accelerated by diligent research in the field of psychology.

The conference aims to bring together young psychologists and researchers to exchange and share their ideas, experiences and research results about psychological determinates, consequences and correlates of social, ideological and political divisions of modern global society.

While political and social psychology are the primary focus of the Conference, ideas from students interested in any field of psychology are welcome as the Conference provides the premier forum for students to present their own workshops, ideas, developments, and applications of research results to their peers and to get wanted feedback that can benefit their future work.

The Conference will host approximately 150 participants and renowned speakers from Europe.
