Social Impact Initiative
Initiative of social learning
The purpose of the Social Impact Initiative (SII) is to use psychological knowledge for positive impact on society. The initiative was included to EFPSA’s activities portfolio in April 2013. SII Team has been working on four distinct projects in order to reach their aim: “Mind the Mind – to Combat the Stigma of Mental Disorders”, “Open Access Movement”, “Organised Acts of Kindness”, and “Better Together”.
Journal of European Psychology Students
Peer-reviewed scientific journal with a difference
EFPSA’s own journal is peer-reviewed, open-access, and run entirely by students. The JEPS team runs a blog, the JEPS Bulletin, which publishes short articles on a range of issues relevant to psychology students of all levels and varied fields of interest.
Study & Travel Abroad
Like Psychology…love travel…study abroad!
Study & Travel Abroad is a team working for students going abroad to study or just for a trip. They promote and facilitate studying and travelling abroad among Psychology students in Europe. For students who like to travel there is a team, which runs a coach-surfing network and provides advice on travelling to countries hosting EFPSA events and offers places to sleep at home.
Junior Researcher Programme
The long-awaited and refined counterpart to the ESS
Originally established in 2011, the JRP encompasses the annual European Summer School (ESS), and extends this one-week event into a fully structured 13-month research programme. The JRP also organises and hosts its own internships, which provide an opportunity for research groups to reconvene, complete reports and present their studies.
