The scientific programme of the Conference is made up of lectures, workshops, poster sessions and a round table . All of which must be presented in English, and relevant to the overall theme: “Overcoming Divisions: Broadening Psychology”
This arrangement of the programme, enables participants to gain insight into current theoretical models and findings in psychology, while being able to experience some practical uses of the principles in different domains, through a set of workshops. Furthermore, presented work of active participants will be published, with the aim of improving knowledge share at the international level. There is a possibility to register more than one contribution, meaning that active participation allows lectures, posters and workshops to be held by the same participant.
PRESENTATION:
This is a common formal way to share knowledge. Eminent psychologists, researchers and students will be given opportunity to present their findings and ideas, with the aim of clarifying new breakthroughs in psychology and strengthening the existing knowledge.
WORKSHOP:
Participants will be able to deepen current knowledge and skills, and gain new ones. They will be actively involved in a series of interesting practical exercises, and will be given opportunity to complement insights gained through formal lectures, by engaging in role plays, group discussions, simultaneous individual activities, etc.
POSTER SESSION:
This is a very efficient way to represent findings of your own research, as well as to explore the work of others. Poster presentations, enable participants to interact with people from the domain of psychology they are interested in, and enhance existing understanding of the phenomenon of concern. Usual poster presentation format contains introduction, methods, results and discussion.
ROUND TABLE:
By organising round tables, participants are able to discuss and debate certain phenomenon from different perspectives. Furthermore, practical implications should be embedded into formal theoretical approach, giving a holistic view of the subject under discussion.
